Chimera presents the EVO38 sports car with 600 hp in Geneva.

Inspired by the iconic Lancia 037 rally car, this latest version includes a new all-wheel drive system for a unique driving experience. Registered as the Ultima Evoluzione, which translates from Italian as "the final evolution", the EVO38 retains the essence of the successful EVO37 model, while introducing distinctive changes and mechanical upgrades. A special feature is the all-wheel drive system, which pays tribute to the unknown potential of the rear-wheel drive Lancia 037 rally car. The exterior design of the EVO38 is based on the proven recipe of the EVO37, but with a modified body kit. Notable changes include a front bumper with large air intakes, a hood with deep air vents and wide, slightly squared fenders, which are complemented by new rally alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires. The engine cover, diffuser, rear wing and single tailpipe have also been redesigned for improved aesthetics. Under the hood, the engine has undergone significant improvements, including a larger turbocharger, new cams, improved ventilation and revised valve timing. These improvements increased the maximum power to 600 hp. and maximum torque up to 580 Nm. Initially paired with a six-speed manual gearbox with reduced gear ratios, the company is actively developing an electric sequential gearbox with the potential to transform the EVO38 into a powerful racing car. EVO38 Ultima Evoluzione. The most striking difference from its predecessor is the introduction of an all-wheel drive system borrowed from motorsport. This innovative solution with an electro-hydraulic differential lock, which can be controlled from the dashboard, allows the driver to adjust the distribution of traction between the front and rear wheels. This feature improves cornering compared to the rear-wheel-drive EVO37, despite the car's increased weight and revised suspension settings. True to its name, the EVO38 will be limited to 38 units, one more than its predecessor. Pricing has yet to be announced, but significant upgrades and an eye-catching design inspired by the Lancia 037 are expected to position the EVO38 as a premium model. Download video. The model will make its public debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, where it will showcase a combination of classic inspiration and cutting-edge automotive engineering.
